It's almost Thanksgiving, and Bootie has a full night of mashups, guaranteed turkey-free, to get your body shaking and help you pre-burn off some of those calories, so you can pile it on at the big dinner guilt-free! Even better, Bootie co-founder and resident DJ Mysterious D is back from the Bootie Southeast Asia tour, and ready to rock the dance floor with some of the best mashups that were discovered! She'll be joined by Bootie LA resident DJs ShyBoy and Faroff, as they keep your feet moving into the early morning!
Resident dance crew R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance) perform the Midnight Mashup Show, as well as provide the go-go shenanigans on stage, and of course house photographersSceneSnaps.com will be in there with their Photo Booth, ready to capture all the action!
Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by A Plus D -- aka DJs Adrian & Mysterious D -- Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Voted "Best Club Night" for the past seven years, Bootie keeps your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song] combinations, mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party. Providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- and free mashup CDs given away like candy -- it's a place where everyone is welcome.
